CARIAD is the software subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. On the company’s careers page, visitors can find information such as employee benefits and company values — as well as an overview of CARIAD’s development teams.

This latter section posed a particular challenge: to describe the tasks of an entire department and engage potential applicants in just a couple of sentences.

To write these short pieces of copy, I focussed on the respective missions of each development team. Action words like ‘design’, ‘develop’ and ‘power’ speak directly to readers, inspiring them to find out more and apply for an open position.
